4.Una vez que el carrete encaja en la bobina, alinee las lengüetas de liberación de la cubierta con las ranuras de la bobina, como se muestra en la figura 14, y presione la cubierta en el lugar. Asegúrese de que los dos lengüetas de liberación estén bien trabadas.

5.Para reemplazar la cuerda en el carrete, siga los siguientes pasos.

a.Localice en el carrete vacío uno de los dos orificios pequeños que se muestran en la figura 15.

b.Introduzca el extremo de la cuerda en el orificio no más de 3 mm (1/8 pulg.) y comience a enrollar la cuerda alrededor del carrete (figura 16).

ALIMENTACIÓN DE LA CUERDA

La podadora utiliza una cuerda de nylon REDONDA de 1,65 mm (0,065 pulg.) de diámetro para cortar césped y malezas con rapidez y facilidad. Durante el uso, la punta de la cuerda de nylon se deshilachará y desgastará, y la bobina de la cuerda de alimentación automática especial se autoalimentará y recortará la cuerda para proporcionar una punta nueva. La cuerda de corte se desgastará más rápido y necesitará más alimentación si el corte o el borde se realizan cerca de aceras u otras superficies abrasivas, o si se cortan malezas más espesas.
