les risques de secousses électriques, ne se servir que dʼun cordon de rallonge conçu pour lʼextérieur et portant une des mentions suivantes : SW-A, SOW-A, STW-A, STOW-A, SJW-A, SJOW-A, SJTW-A ou SJTOW-A.

•RÉPARATIONS ET ENTRETIEN. Confier lʼoutil à un centre de service Black & Decker autorisé ou à tout autre atelier dʼentretien qualifié utilisant toujours des pièces de rechange identiques lorsquʼil doit subir des réparations ainsi que des travaux dʼentretien ou de réglage qui ne sont pas spécifiés dans le présent guide.

MESURES DE SÉCURITÉ RELATIVES AUX COUPE-BORDURES

1.Utiliser du fil de dimensions et de type appropriés. Ne pas se servir de fil métallique, de corde ni dʼautre matériau du genre. Ne pas se servir de fil de calibre supérieur à celui recommandé par le fabricant. Consulter la rubrique relative aux accessoires du présent guide afin dʼobtenir de plus amples renseignements sur le fil de coupe à utiliser.

2.Sʼassurer que le fil de coupe est taillé à la longueur appropriée (lʼoutil sʼen occupe automatiquement). Vérifier si le protecteur est bien en place, en bon état et placé entre lʼutilisateur et la ligne de coupe.

3.Porter des pantalons et des chaussures robustes afin de se protéger contre les risques de blessures dus aux débris projetés. Cette mesure est essentielle lorsquʼon coupe des bordures avec lʼoutil.

MESURES DE SECURITE : FICHE POLARISEE

Sʼassurer que la prise de la rallonge comporte une petite et une grande fente. Lorsquʼon ne peut insérer la fiche à fond dans la prise, il faut tenter de le faire après avoir inversé les lames de côté. Si la fiche nʼentre toujours pas dans la prise, utiliser une rallonge appropriée. Si la fiche nʼentre toujours pas dans la prise, il faut communiquer avec un électricien certifié afin quʼil installe une prise appropriée. Il ne faut en aucun cas modifier la fiche de lʼoutil ni le cordon de rallonge.

FIXER LE DISPOSITIF DE PROTECTION ET LE GUIDE-BORDURE AU TAILLE BORDURE/COUPE-BORDURE

AVERTISSEMENT : Le protecteur doit toujours être sur lʼoutil afin de protéger lʼutilisateur. NE JAMAIS UTILISER LʼOUTIL SANS LE PROTECTEUR.

Débrancher lʼoutil avant de procéder à lʼinstallation du protecteur.

2. Fixer le guide-bordure au boîtier. Pour ce faire, placer les deux extrémités dans les trous pratiqués dans le boîtier.

Afin de réduire les risques de secousses électriques, lʼoutil est muni dʼune fiche polarisée (une lame plus large que lʼautre). Il faut donc utiliser un cordon de rallonge bifilaire ou trifilaire polarisé approprié. Ce genre de fiche nʼentre que dʼune façon dans une prise polarisée.
