on the housing, press the cap against the housing until it clicks.

WARNING

Make sure that the engine has stopped and is cool before performing any service to the machine. Contact with moving cutting head or hot muffler may result in a personal injury.

AIR FILTER

IMPORTANT

Your unit's air filter is one of the most important areas to maintain. If it is not maintained, you will void the warranty.

1.Remove the air filter cover by pulling up the two tabs on the bottom back of the cover, then pull out and up. (MA5)

2.Remove the air the filter. (MA5)

3.Wash the filter in detergent and water. Rinse the filler thoroughly and allow it to dry. (MA6)

4.Reinstall the filter. (MA5)

5.Reinstall the air filter cover by positioning the notch on top of the air filter cover onto the tab at the top of the back plate. (MA7)

6.Using two fingers on either side of the air filter cover and back plate, squeeze together until the cover snaps into place. (MA7)

WARNING

Never operate the machine without air filter or filter cover. Doing so could lead the engine breakdown.
