Before the top plates are installed it is necessary to attach the cage nuts* in their appropriate locations as shown in the figures at right.

If fencing or decking is to be installed, refer to the deck and fence instructions before installing verticals. The holes indented in the face of the verticals must be on top.

If your pool is equipped with feature tape, it is best to apply it to the verticals at this time.
