3. Open the Web browser and access any Web site to test the network connection.

Connecting to a wireless network (for select models)

Wireless LAN (WLAN) connectivity has limited range, depending upon the equipment being used, the chosen frequency band, radiowave interference, and the physical landscape, including building structure. Circumstances will vary depending upon your particular situation.

1.Make sure you

-are located within the wireless network service area.

-have purchased the Internet service from an ISP.

-have inserted the wireless LAN card to the computer and installed its drivers.

-have set up the broadband modem (DSL or cable).

-have connected the modem to the wireless router or access point with an Ethernet cable.

2.Click the Wireless Network icon in the system tray, Connecting to a wireless network (for select models), to open a list of available wireless networks.

3.Choose a network you intend to join from the list.
