Basic Operation

Keystone Adjustment

Keystone function is provided to correct image distortions.

Press the KEYSTONE button on the remote control and correct vertical and horizontal distortions with the Point buttons (e, d, 7, and 8) or the Control pad. The Keystone adjustment can be memorized. (p.48)

Note:

Horizontal keystone is ineffective for PLC-EF60A.

• The arrows are white when there is no correction.

• The arrows disappear at the maximum correction.

• The direction of the arrow being corrected turns red.

• If you press the KEYSTONE button on the remote control once again while the keystone dialog box is being displayed, the keystone adjustment will be canceled.

Screen Selection

Select a screen size among Normal, Wide, True, Full screen, and Custom by pressing the SCREEN button on the remote control. Refer to the Screen menu on page 47 for details of each screen setting.

Note:

True cannot be selected when selecting AV sources for the Input.

Picture Freeze Function

Press the FREEZE button on the remote control to freeze the picture on screen. To cancel the Freeze function, press the FREEZE button again or press any other button.

P-Timer Function

Press the P-TIMER button on the remote control. The timer display “00 : 00” appears on the screen and the timer starts to count time (00 : 00 ~ 59 : 59).

To stop the counting, press the P-TIMER button. And then, press the P-TIMER button again to cancel the P-Timer function.
