Specify the paper size of the original document.

Specify whether the original document is in portrait or landscape orientation. Select Portrait if the height of the page is greater than the width; select Landscape if the width of the page is greater than the height.

Specify the content of the original document to enhance scan quality.

Text—This scans original documents that are mostly text or line art.

Text/Photo—This scans original documents that are a mixture of text and graphics or pictures.

Photo—This scans original documents that are high- quality photographs or inkjet prints.

Graphics—This scans original documents that are mostly businesstype graphics, such as pie charts, bar charts, and animations.

Allow users to scan onesided or twosided documents.

1 Sided—This scans onesided documents.

2 Sided Short Edge—This scans twosided documents that are bound along the short edge of the paper.

2 Sided Long Edge—This scans twosided documents that are bound along the long edge of the paper.
