The fuser cover closes when released.

4Close the front door.

5From the printer control panel, touch Continue, jam cleared.

230 paper jam

1Grasp the front door at the side handholds, and then pull it toward you to open it.

2Grasp the jammed paper, and then gently pull it out.

Note: Make sure all paper fragments are removed.

3From the printer control panel, touch Continue, jam cleared.

235 paper jam

This jam occurs when the paper is too short for the duplex unit.

1Grasp the front door at the side handholds, and then pull it toward you to open it.

2Grasp the jammed paper on each side, and then gently pull it out.

Note: Make sure all paper fragments are removed.

3Load the tray with the correct paper size (A4, letter, legal, or folio).

Note: When loading, flex the sheets back and forth to loosen them. Do not fold or crease the paper. Straighten the edges on a level surface.

4Insert the tray.

5Close the front door.

6From the printer control panel, touch Continue, jam cleared.
