5.9.2Parental control Note

All TV do not support 576i output.

In case of black screen after selecting an HDMI output, please connect a SCART cable to your TV set to change the output HDMI resolution.

Time settings

Set the appropriate time using the coloured keys.

5.9.2Parental control

Once you are in the Settings menu, select Parental control using the Activation options / Channel lock arrow keys.

Press OK.

Parental Control is used to activate locking options.A PIN Code is used to prevent access to locked items.

Locking options include:

Locking access to the menu

Locking access to individual channels

Locking access to programmes according to their maturity rating.

Parental Control is also used to change the PIN Code of the Digital Terrestrial Receiver.

Activation options

Enable or disable the following:

Menu lock

Channel lock

Maturity lock

If you enable Maturity lock, select a Maturity level. Maturity level is used to set PIN Code protection on programmes according to their maturity rating.

This feature is based on broadcast ratings.Very few channels are broadcasting ratings.

Set a maturity level from age 2 to 18 to prevent undesired access to programmes for which maturity rating is higher. For instance, to prevent your child from watching a programme non- suitable to children below 10, set the maturity rating to 10.

To access this programme, you will be prompted to enter your PIN Code.

Channel lock

To lock or unlock channels:

Scroll to the channel you want to lock or unlock.

Press the green-coloured key to lock or unlock the channel. Locked channels are marked with a padlock.

Press OK to exit the channel list

Manual background Note

Channel lock is effective only if you have enabled the channel lock option.

A locked channel is locked in all the lists it belongs to.
