Enter your PIN Code.

Enter your new PIN Code.

Enter your new PIN Code again.

5.9.3Installation Note

Once you have changed your PIN Code, keep it secret to prevent others from using it. If you forget or lose your PIN Code, refer to chapter Frequently asked questions.

Channel installation Note

The PIN Code default value is 0000.

5.9.3Installation

Once you are in the Settings menu, select Installation using the Antenna setting / Hard disk drive arrow keys. Press OK.

This menu is used to:

Manage channel installation

Position your antenna - Test signal level and quality

Manage the Hard Disk Drive

Check software upgrades and information

Restore the Digital Terrestrial Receiver factory settings.

Manual background Disabling Hard drive is a way to reduce Fan noise. HDD is a source of heat and not using it reduces the need for using the internal fan.

Channel installation

This sub-menu is used to manage channel installation and update TV/Radio services in the main list

Update installation: manual update

Full installation: choose between fast, (recommanded) automatic and advanced. (long) see Retune page 11

Erase channel lists: Use this option to delete all channels and favorite lists.

Antenna setting

This sub-menu is used to check the signal level and quality. If the signal power and quality is not adequate, adjust your antenna.

Manual background Note

For information on the UHF channels available in your area refer to your local dealer.

Hard disk drive

Record files: press OK to delete all

Format disk: press OK to format disk

Hard disk drive: use the Manual background / Manual background arrow keys to enable or disable Hard Disk Drive.

Manual background Note

Disabling the Hard Disk Drive also disables all the recording functions and Time Shift Buffer functions.You won’t be able to access the recorded programmes.

Information on the HDD reference and capacity is displayed in the bottom right corner.
