Software information

This menu gives you information on the Digital Terrestrial Receiver, including the model type and current software version.

Software upgrade

Software upgrade is used to display the current software version.

In order to maintain advantages of software improvements we are carrying out, please check regularly on the DTG web site, (http://www.dtg. org.uk/industry/download_schedule.php) in the “Freeview downloads” tables, for the availability of a new software version for the Philips DTR7510/05 digital terrestrial recorder.

If there is a new software version broadcast, please follow the instructions:

Software upgrade Press red colored button to check if an update is available. It will take few minutes.

Factory reset If a new version is found, press OK to install it. Press OK to confirm.

When update is finished, it will reboot the box.

Factory reset

Factory Reset is used to restart the Digital Terrestrial Receiver in its initial state: it is protected by code (default 0000)

Reset & restart: you lose all data and information previously stored, and you have to restart first installation.

Conditional access All recordings on hard drive are deleted !!

Conditional access

The Conditional access sub-menu is used to give information on the Nagra-Mediagard conditionnal access embedded in the software version of your digital terrestrail recorder.

5.9.4Smart Card

Once you are in the Settings menu, select Smart Card using the 5.9.4Smart Card / Manual background arrow keys. Press OK.

This menu provides you access to the following options:

System info

Operator

Maturity

PIN code

System info: displays card system info

Operator: displays card operators info

Maturity: provides information about maturity level

PIN code: use it to change the card PIN code
