8. Customer care and warranty

working days after the unit is picked up then a replacement monitor of at least an equivalent monitor will be shipped to you.

The swap monitor remains yours and Philips keeps the defective/original monitor. For the swap monitor the warranty period remains equal to that of your original monitor, being

24 months as from the purchase date of your original monitor

For the B, P and S models, your monitor will be swapped by at least an equivalent monitor in case of defects provided for under the warranty coverage. Its Philips aim to exchange the swap unit within 48 hours after the request for service however for remote areas like Island or other geographically difficult to reach area, its Philips aim to have an exchange time within 72 hours.

The swap monitor remains yours and Philips keeps the defective/original monitor. For the swap monitor the warranty period remains equal to that of your original monitor, being 36 months as from the purchase date of your original monitor.

What is excluded?

The Philips Warranty applies provided the product is handled properly for its intended use, in accordance with its operating instructions and upon presentation of the original invoice or cash receipt, indicating the date of purchase, dealer's name and model and production number of the product.

The Philips Warranty may not apply if:

v 7KHPRGHORUSURGXFWLRQQXPEHURQWKH product has been altered, deleted, removed or made illegible;

v 3URGXFWUHTXLUHVPRGLILFDWLRQRUDGDSWDWLRQ to enable it to comply with local or national technical standards, which apply in countries for which the product was not originally designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized. Therefore always check whether a product can be used in a specific country. v1RWHWKDWSURGXFWVWKDWDUHQRWRULJLQDOO\ designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized for usage within the Philips countries, do not apply to the Philips F1rst Choice Warranty. In these cases the Philips global warranty terms are valid.
