Black Box®LB1350A/LB1351A

The Black Box®LB1350A/LB1351A will not only convert signals from copper to fiber but also from 10 to 100Mbs and HDX to FDX, thus ensuring maximal distance over the optical link.

All you need to take care of is the Speed and Duplex mode balance across the network: if one of the local devices is HDX only capable you should force the corresponding remote device to HDX as well to avoid buffer overflow. Same applies to devices with 10Mbps capability only.

Disregarding the interconnected device F/O link will always operate at 100Mpbs and FDX (you may force it to HDX as well, if needed )
