Removing and Replacing Print

Cartridges

You should remove a print cartridge from the printer under only two conditions:

To replace it, or

To reinsert it in a situation where it is not printing correctly.

As you handle print cartridges in the following steps, be sure to observe these precautions:

Do not touch either the electrical contacts or the printing nozzles on the cartridges.

Do not set the cartridges on either their contacts or their ink nozzles.
