Holding the print cartridge with the nozzles facing downwards, blot it against the cloth, pressing lightly.

Repeat the blotting operation a few times on different areas of the cloth.

Reinsert the print cartridge in the printer, lock it into place, and close the printer cover.

Print a test page and check the quality of the output. See“Printing a Test Page” (page 3-7).
