Ease of Use and Management

Look for fully integrated functions that work together to create more value than the sum of their parts. Are the functions easy to learn? Is the user interface consistent from function to function? Do the network features give users full access to the power of your network? Does the MFP include additional software to take full advantage of digital documents? Is the MFP easy for your IT organization to manage as part of its infrastructure? Is the MFP compatible with the latest technologies?

Can it be easily upgraded to stay up to speed with new technological developments?

How the ColorQube™ 9201/9202/9203 exceeds the ease of use requirement:

Consumable Supplies

Solid ink is a cartridge-free technology. The ink is a true consumable—simply drop the ink into the device—there are no cartridges to recycle or dispose of. Ink loading is a simple process with easy drop-in loading. It’s a no-mess process and each color has a unique shape to eliminate mix ups. You can load up to six sticks of each color into each chute, and each stick has an ISO yield of 10,000 prints per black ink stick and 9,250 prints per color ink stick. Because solid ink provides you with the unique ability to top off while the device is running, you can have 55,500-prints-worth of each color at all times.

Intelligent Ready

Intelligent Ready is a program where the machine actually learns your unique usage patterns. The ColorQube 9201/9202/9203 will be ready when you need it to be. This can result in pages being generated in about 7.2 seconds.

Embedded Help videos and

Illuminated Paper Path

Embedded help videos offer quick troubleshooting assistance right at the front panel, while front-door access and the illuminated paper path makes occasional access fast, easy and worry free. Any paper jams or misfeeds that do occur are easily cleared, enabling users to proactively resolve most issues and limit help-desk calls

Consistent look and feel

The ColorQube 9201/9202/9203 multifunction printer is built on the same controller platform as industry-leading Xerox WorkCentre® multifunction printers. You get all the benefits of easy-to-use Solid Ink technology with the proven advantages of tried-and-true Xerox MFP expertise.

Front panel user interface

It doesn’t matter if a job is simple or complex—the front panel user interface (UI) on ColorQube 9201/9202/9203 devices is easy to learn and offers quick job programming. It features touch-screen functionality and intuitive organization, with the most commonly accessed features on the default screen and tab-based access to advanced programming features. 9202, 9201, 9203 specifications

The Xerox 9201, 9202, and 9203 copiers, introduced during the late 1970s and early 1980s, represent a significant leap in office automation technology. These models were part of Xerox's innovative line of copiers, catering to various business needs through their unique features and capabilities.

One of the cornerstone technologies behind the Xerox 9200 series is xerography, a process developed by Chester Carlson in the 1930s. The photocopiers use a dry electrophotographic process, which relies on a photosensitive drum, enabling high-quality and high-speed copying. This technology championed the transition from traditional printing methods to more efficient office practices, revolutionizing how documents were reproduced.

The Xerox 9201 was known for its robust capability to handle a significant volume of copies, appealing primarily to mid-sized organizations. It boasted an impressive speed of up to 80 copies per minute, catering to high-demand settings without compromising the quality of output.

The Xerox 9202 was an enhancement over its predecessor, introducing more advanced features such as automatic document feeding, which significantly reduced manual handling and increased productivity. It also supported various paper sizes, making it versatile for different tasks, from simple memos to full-size reports. Additional capabilities included collating, sorting, and stapling, allowing users to complete comprehensive document preparation in a single pass.

The Xerox 9203 further built upon these advancements, offering even faster copying speeds of up to 100 copies per minute. It also allowed for electronic sorting and featured an integrated mail room solution ideal for larger organizations. The 9203’s user interface was designed for ease of use, paving the way for accessible technology in the workplace.

All three models leveraged advanced optics and imaging technology to ensure sharp, clear reproductions. The capacity for duplex printing was a notable feature, enabling users to print on both sides of the paper, which not only saved resources but also contributed to environmentally friendly practices.

Overall, the Xerox 9200 series exemplified the transition towards multifunctional copiers that incorporated advanced features for efficiency, quality, and ease of use in office environments. Their impact on the industry helped shape modern photocopying, setting the benchmark for future models through their blend of technology and practicality. These machines remain a testament to Xerox's legacy in imaging technology and office automation.
