WARNING • The SCSI ID does not have to follow the order of connection. As long as an ID is not repeated, IDs between 0 and 6 can be used.

SCSI device equipped computers usually have the following SCSI ID already assigned. Refer to the manuals of the appropriate devices. Assign an unused SCSI ID to this scanner.

-For Windows

-For Macintosh

0:Internal hard disk drive

3:Internal CD-ROM drive (Desktop model with an internal CD-ROM drive)

7:Macintosh CPU

Ensure that you unplug the AC adapter from the scanner before you change the SCSI ID or terminator settings. After resetting them, reconnect the AC adapter and restart the computer.

How to Set the SCSI ID and Terminator

To set the SCSI ID and terminator on this scanner, adjust the dip switches found on the back panel of the scanner.
