8.1.2 Carrying out a system dump
Conditions:
1.Select the SVPST0 window
2.Select LD PROGRAM LOAD FRAME
3.Select LOAD FUNCTION => 5 (SYSTEM DUMP)
The system dump stored on hard disk or cassette by the DUMP program is required for error diagnosis.
Afterwards, the BS2000/VM2000 system must be reloaded with the IPL.

8.1.3Measures to take in the case of defective I/O channels or I/O processors
If an S130 channel or an added secondary I/O processor is defective, you can perform the following after consulting the service department:
ÊDisable defective I/O channel during operation.
If an I/O channel has failed due to a hardware failure, it is automatically disabled. If not, you can disable it using the BS2000 command DETË*CHA(XX).
ÊDisable defective I/O processor during operation.
If an I/O processor has failed due to a hardware failure, it is automatically disabled. If not, you can disable it using the BS2000 command
