2.Input and Output Filter Sets - Filter sets are used to block certain packets to reduce traffic and to prevent a security breach. Filtering is a very involved subject, so leave these fields blank for the time being. After you have studied filtering in Chapter 9, come back and define the filter sets.

TCP/IP Ethernet Setup and DHCP

If you are setting up your network for the first time, read Chapter 4, Configuring for Internet Access, before proceeding. The chapter contains important information on how to assign IP addresses for your network.

From Menu 3 - Ethernet Setup, enter 2 to go to Menu 3.2 - TCP/IP Ethernet Setup.
