APPENDIX

TROUBLESHOOTING

Before calling your dealer or service center for assistance, check the following:

Make sure you have connected the projector to peripheral equipment as described properly in the section “CONNECTING THE PROJECTOR” on pages 11 ~ 13.

Verify that all computer, video and power cord are properly connected and turn the equipment on.

When you are operating the projector with a computer and it does not produce an image, restart the computer.

Select the other input source.

Problem:

Try these Solutions

No power.

● Plug the projector into an AC outlet.

 

● Make sure the READY Indicator lights.

 

● Wait 90 seconds after the projector is turned OFF before turning the projector back on.

 

NOTE : After pressing the Power ON-OFF button to OFF, make sure the projector works as

 

follows:

 

1. The LAMP indicator lights bright and the READY indicator turns off.

 

2. After 90 seconds, the READY indicator lights green again and the projector can

 

be turned on by pressing the Power ON-OFF button.

 

● Check the WARNING TEMP. indicator. If this indicator flashes red, the projector cannot

 

be turned on.

● Check the Projection Lamp. (Refer to page 38.)

● Adjust the focus of the projector.

● Make sure a projection screen is at least 3.6’ (1.1m) from the projector.

● Check the Projection Lens to see if it needs cleaning.

 

 

NOTE : Moving the projector from a cool temperature location to a warm temperature

 

location may result in moisture condensation on the Projection Lens. In such an

 

event, leave the projector OFF and wait until condensation disappears.

● Check the NO SHOW function. (Refer to P21.)

 

● When turning the projector on, it takes about 30 seconds to display an image.

 

● Check the system that you select is corresponding with your computer or video

 

equipment.

 

● Make sure the temperature is not out of the Operating Temperature (5°C ~ 35°C).

 

 

No sound.

● Check the audio cable connection from the audio input source.

 

● Adjust the audio source.

 

● Press the VOLUME (+) button.

 

● Press the MUTE button.

Computer 1 cannot
