4. Press the PARAMETER SELECTOR® button to display the center speaker size parameter, and press the PARAME- TER CONTROLLER /® buttons to select “LARGE”, “SMALL” and “NONE.”

Note:

If you have selected “SMALL” for the front speakers, you can select only “SMALL” or “NONE” for the center speaker. LARGE: When a large speaker is used as the center speaker. SMALL: When a small speaker is used as the center speaker. NONE: A center speaker is not connected.

5. Press the PARAMETER SELECTOR® button to display the surround speaker size parameter, and press the PARAMETER CONTROLLER /® buttons to select “LARGE”, “SMALL” and “NONE.”

Note:

If you have selected “SMALL” for the front speaker, you can select only “SMALL” or “NONE” for the surround speakers. LARGE: When large speakers are used as the surround speaker.

SMALL: When small speakers are used as the surround speaker.

NONE: Surround speakers are not connected.

6. Press the PARAMETER SELECTOR® button to display the front speaker position parameter, and press the PARAMETER CONTROLLER /® button repeatedly to set the distance value from your listening position to the front speaker.

Pressing the PARAMETER CONTROLLER® button repeatedly increases the value.

Pressing the PARAMETER CONTROLLER button repeat- edly decreases the value.

Set the value closest to the actual distance.

7. Press the PARAMETER SELECTOR® button to display the center speaker position parameter, and press the PARAMETER CONTROLLER /® buttons to set the center speaker position parameter.

If you have selected “NONE” for the center speaker in step 4, you cannot set this parameter.

You cannot set the following values:

Values larger than the front speaker position setting

Values smaller than the value obtained by subtracting “5ft” from the front speaker setting

8. Press the PARAMETER SELECTOR® button to display the surround speaker position parameter, and press the PARAMETER CONTROLLER /® buttons to set the sur- round speaker position parameter.

If you have selected “NONE” for the surround speakers in step 5, you cannot set this parameter.

You cannot set the following values:

Values larger than the front speaker position setting

Values smaller than the value obtained by subtracting “15ft” from the front speaker setting
