Input tray—Holds documents in the scanner.

Paper guides—Adjusts to fit the document width.

Scan button—Press to start scanning.

Status light—Shows the scanner’s status. Refer to “Status Light Troubleshooting Codes” on page 82 for additional details.

Output tray—Holds documents after being fed through the scanner. ADF cover release—Opens the cover on the ADF.

Power switch—Turns the scanner power on or off.

Power jack—Connects the power cord to the scanner.

Universal Serial Bus (USB) port—Connects the scanner to the computer.
