Level-dependent acoustic signal
In the function, „level beep,“ a acoustic signal is generated, whose pitch is proportional to the received signal level. With this
signal, it is possible to optimally align the receiving antenna to a transmitter.
In this menu, the receiving frequency can be changed using the cursor buttons, ◄►.
Selecting channel bandwidths
chBW 8MHz
For correct level measurement of digital signals, you can choose between 3 chan- nel bandwidths (6, 7 and 8 MHz). This programming is taken over for the constella- tion analysis.
For correct level measurement of the signals, the correct bandwidth must be set!
MPEG decoder menu (OPTION)
MPEG
In this function, the PAT list (Program Association Table) and the respective PIDs (Packet Identifier) of the transportation stream are displayed. The desired pro- grammes can be selected in this menu and represented on the screen (refer to „MPEG decoder“).
