RETURN KEY

 

File

Like on a typewriter or word process or, this machine’s return key (

) is used to end a

line of text and start another one. When you have finished entering one line of text, press the

return key to add a return mark (

 

) to the end of the line and start a new one.

 

 

File

A maximum of four text lines can be entered. If you pres s when the cursor is located in the four th line, the error mes sage “4 LINE LIMIT!” will appear.

The number of text lines that can be printed on the installed tape depends on the tape width.

Some question asking you to confirm a command may appear on the LCD display, especially when the function that you have chosen will delete or affect text. In these cases, press ing

is the same as answering “yes ”.

 

Clear

To ans wer “no”, press BS . Refer to BACKSPACE KEY on pages 27 and 28.
