10) Alarm Configuration
This feature allows the administrator to set parameters that affect the manner in which the triggers (both internal and external) will cause the VersaCam to respond.
Motion Detection Threshold:
This value is used to set the threshold for the motion detection function. During operation with this feature enabled (See Application Configuration) changes in the video image are perceived by the camera as motion and cause
Threshold “0” is the most sensitive state and “900” is the least sensitive state.
The administrator should gain some experience with motion in the desired frame of reference before settling on a particular value for this threshold. Note that the motion of leaves on trees, cars on distant roads, and other transient events must sometimes be taken into account when setting up this feature.

Alarm Preset
If an external trigger is sensed by the camera, the camera can be forced to move to one of the preset monitoring points by enabling this feature for one or both of the external inputs. Such preset positions are configured
in the PTZ Configuration menu. The two external triggers can be associated with different preset locations if desired.
