Note: The SMC2482W is DHCP-enabled by default. If you do not know the IP address that was assigned by your DHCP server, please use the Windows Utility or look at your DHCP client list to get the correct IP address to use. If you do not have a DHCP server on your network, then the SMC2482W will auto-assign itself an IP address of: 192.168.2.55.
3.Log into the Web-based Utility. The factory default password for the SMC2482W is “default”, all lower-case.
4.Once logged into the Web-based Utility, you can:
•Configure wireless settings and TCP/IP settings
•Configure Operating Mode
•Configure wireless security (WEP)
•Configure MAC address filtering
•Change administrator password
•View connection status and Bridge information
•Reset/Restore Wireless Bridge
•Upgrade Firmware
