2.6 - Installing the Processor and Cooling Fan

Your S5220 supports the latest processor technologies from Intel. Check the TYAN website for latest processor support: http://www.tyan.com

Processor Installation (LGA 775 Socket)

The processor should be installed carefully. Make sure you are wearing an antistatic strap and handle the processor as little as possible.

Follow these instructions to install your processor and heat sink.

1.Locate the processor socket on the motherboard and lift the locking lever to a fully open position.

2.Lift the load plate to a fully open position.

3.Insert the processor into the socket and make sure that pin 1 is correctly located.
