Selecting the equalizer pattern
Note:
•In EQ USER display, design equalizer pattern by yourself and store them. For further detail, see the next subsection “Designing and storing equalizer patterns.”
1)Press the EQ button 15 .
2)Press the BND button 13 to select EQ USER or EQ BASIC.
*Each time you press the BND button 13 , dis- play toggles between EQ BASIC and EQ USER.
3)Select an equalizer pattern by pressing one of buttons 16 to 19 .
Note:
•Be sure to turn on the equalizer effect. Otherwise, the equalizer effect is not available. For this oper- ation, see the subsection “Turning on and off the equalizer pattern.”
Designing and storing equalizer patterns
1)Press the EQ button 15 .
2)Press the BND button 13 to select EQ USER display.
*Each time you press the BND button 13 , the display toggles between EQ BASIC and EQ USER.
3)Select an equalizer pattern to be stored (USER1 to USER4) by pressing one of but- tons 16 to 19 .
4)Press (center) of the ENT button 11 to select the equalizer setting mode.
5)Slide the Up/Down button 11 to (left),
(right), (up), or (down) to set an equalizer pattern.
Increases the sound level.

Decreases the sound level.
6) After setting the frequency pattern, press
(center) of the ENT button 11 to store it.
Note:
•The stored equalizer pattern can be selected in the same procedure as described in the previous subsection “Selecting the equalizer pattern.”
Turning on and off the equalizer pattern
1)Press the ADJ button 10 to select the CON- FIGURATION display.
2)Slide the Up/Down button 11 to (down) or
(up) to move the cursor to “EQ.”
3)Each time you slide the Up/Down button 11
to (right), “ON” and “OFF” toggles.
*When “OFF” is set, the EQ indicator 5 goes off.
4)Press the ADJ button 10 to return to the pre- vious mode.
