When an emergency broadcast is received, all the function mode operations are stopped. “ALARM” appears in the display and the emergency broadcast can be heard.

Cancelling an emergency broadcast

If you press AF button 6, emergency broadcast reception is cancelled.

Chapter up/down operation (FF/FB operation)

Press the left side of SEARCH button % for 1 second or shorter to decrement chapters.

Hold down the left side of SEARCH button % for 1 to fast backward.

Slow playback

When a DVD disc is being played back and in still mode, hold down the right side of SEARCH button % for 1 second or longer.
