Chapter 2 - Quick Start

Windows 95 Installation

1.Turn on your computer.

2.Insert the MT5634ZLX/E card into an open PCMCIA slot and make sure it is firmly seated.

3.Ensure that the 15-pin connector end of the MT5634ZLX/E Modem 10Base-T Combination cable is plugged into the center opening on the PCMCIA card.

4.Windows briefly displays the New Hardware Found dialog box and then the Update Device Driver Wizard is displayed.

Insert the MT5634ZLX/E Driver disk and click Next >.

5. The Update Device Driver Wizard is displayed indicating it has located the driver.

Click Finish.

6.The Copying Files screen is displayed. Once the files have been copied to the system, the screen disappears.

7.Remove the driver disk from the floppy drive.

8.To complete the installation, reboot the computer.
