8.When the PC ServerSwitch 2x16 has received the entire file, it will prompt the user through the serial port to confirm that the file is correct. Check the file version to be certain that it is the version that you wish to upload to the PC ServerSwitch 2x16 system.

9.When ready to modify the flash, select 'y' for 'continue with programming'. NOTE: DO NOT TURN THE POWER OFF at this point.

10.The flash memory will be erased, and the new flash file will then be saved.

11.You will get a prompt stating "Flash Programming Complete" after less than a minute. Finally, it will state "Starting System".

12.After you get the Starting System prompt, the Flash update is completed, and the 2x16 is ready to go. Simply disconnect your PC from the CONTROL IN port, and return all connections to normal.

Erasing the flash (takes about 10 sec.)

13.To verify that the System Flash has been updated, go to the Main Menu, select the System Setup screen and see the version number as listed on the screen.
