Dialer Pool (Dialer only)

Sets the dialer pool name for the dialer interface.

 

 

Netmask

Sets the netmask.

 

 

Gateway

Sets the gateway address.

 

 

9. V.92 Modem Interface Window

If you have the V.92 mini-PIM installed in your device, you can configure the serialx/0 (Modem) interface using the following window:

Modem Name

Sets the name for the modem interface

 

 

Init String

Sets the initialization string for the modem

 

 

ISP Name

Assigns a name to the service provider

 

 

Primary Number

Specifies the phone number to access the service provider

 

 

Alternative Number (optional)

Specifies an alternative phone number to access the service

 

provider if the primary number does not connect

 

 

Login Name

Sets the login name for the service provider account

 

 

Password

Sets the password for the login name

 

 

Confirm

Confirms the password typed in the Password field

 

 

10. Eth0/0 Interface (Untrust Zone) Window

The eth0/0 interface can have a static or a dynamic IP address assigned via DHCP or PPPoE.
