SECTION 4 – INSTALLATION AND WIRING

Extreme care should be taken to protect the transfer switch from drill chips, fillings, and other contaminants when making the cable entry holes and mounting the enclosure to prevent component damage or a future malfunction.

This device should be installed in accordance with all local codes, standards and regulations and the latest edition of the National Electrical Code®.

Do not allow petroleum-based (hydrocarbon) sprays, chemicals, solvents or any paint to contact interior components. Petroleum based chemicals can cause degradation of electrical insulating materials.
