The following subsections describe the pinouts of the connectors used with the DX40.

1.4.1 RJ45

Table 1-8defines the pinout of the RJ45 connector used with the DX40. RJ45 connectors can be used on one of the Ethernet ports for 10/100 BaseT connections to copper Ethernet-capable devices.

1.4.2 SFP

Table 1-9defines the pinout of the SFP connector used with the DX40. SFP connectors are used on ports E1 and E2 for 100FX multi/single mode for connections to fiber optic Ethernet-capable devices or networks.
