Send five ICMP echo requests (pings) to test the network connection between the FortiBridge unit and another network device.

Command syntax

execute ping {<address_ipv4> <host-name_str>}

Example

This example shows how to ping a host with the IP address 192.168.1.23.

execute ping 192.168.1.23
