The following precautions should be observed by a qualified technician when working with batteries.
1.Remove watches, rings, or other metal objects.
2.Use tools with insulated handles.
3.Wear rubber gloves and boots.
4.Do not lay tools or metal parts on top of batteries.

Should you need to store the UPS for a long period, fully recharge the battery just prior to storage and recharge the battery every 4 months by plugging the UPS into a power outlet. It is recommended that the batteries charge for 24 hours after
