Monitoring the Switch

The Network Monitor Menu provides access to port statistics, RMON statistics, IP multicast addresses, and the static (unicast) address table. Each of the screens provided by these menus is described in the following sections.

Port Statistics

Displays statistics on network traffic passing through the selected

 

port.

RMON Statistics

Displays detailed statistical information for the selected port such

 

as packet type and frame size counters.

Unicast

Provides full listing of all unicast addresses stored in the switch,

as well as sort, search and clear functions.

Multicast Address

Displays the ports that belong to each GMRP Muticast group.

Registration Table*

 

IP Multicast

Displays the ports that belong to each IP Muticast group.

Static Unicast

Allows you to display or configure static unicast addresses.
