Configuration and Management

3.3.3.2WEP Encryption Key

WEP encrypted data can only be sent and received by users with access to a private encryption key. This means that each client on your wireless network has to be configured with the same key as in the Ericsson W3x.

A 64-bit data encryption key includes 10 characters. A 128-bit data encryption key includes 26 characters. Only the hexadecimal numbers 0 to 9 and letters A to F are allowed.
