Type the PUK code in the “PUK” field and type a new PIN code in the “New PIN” and “Retype new PIN” fields. Click OK to save the settings.

Note: A restart of the Ericsson W3x (see section 3.9.3) is needed when

the PUK code has been entered to unblock the SIM card.

Note: If ten attempts have been made with an incorrect PUK, the SIM card is permanently blocked, and a new SIM card is required.

3.4.3.2Unlock Operator Lock

If the SIM card used in the Ericsson W3x is locked to a specific operator it cannot be replaced with any other SIM card without having received an unlock code from the service provider. If this is the case, and an invalid SIM card is inserted, the Unlock Operator Lock button is displayed besides the “PIN” field. Click the button to display the Unlock operator lock page:
