5. Take out the wireless LAN adapter from the socket.

RTC Battery

The RTC battery is encased within a special black sleeve and has a wire connector that connects to the main board. To remove the RTC battery, first remove the wireless LAN adapter (see Wireless LAN Adapter on page 7) and then perform the following steps:

1. Disconnect the RTC battery cable from the header on the main board.

2. Detach the RTC battery from the main board.

Note: The RTC battery is held in place by double-sided tape.
