26.Lift the top right edge of the system board to disconnect it from the I/O daughter card, then carefully lift the system board out of the computer.
27.Unroute the power cable.

Replacing the System Board Assembly

CAUTION: Ensure no loose cables get caught beneath the system board.
To replace the system board, follow the removal steps in reverse order:
1.Route the power cable and place the power connector in the base assembly.
2.Insert the bottom edge of the system board into the base of the computer, ensuring that the system board is placed under the metal latch mechanism.
3.Lower the top of the system board to reconnect the power, USB, and serial connectors.
4.Connect the top right of the system board to the I/O daughter card connector.
5.Place the top side of the system board in the base.
6.Replace the five M2.5 x
7.Connect the ExpressCard cable to the system board.
8.Connect the Secure Digital card cable to the system board.
9.Connect the power cable.
10.Replace the card cage (see Replacing the Card Cage).
11.Replace the palm rest assembly (see Replacing the Palm Rest Assembly).
12.Replace the speaker/fingerprint reader cover (see Replacing the Right- Speaker and Fingerprint Reader Cover).
13.Replace the keyboard (see Replacing the Keyboard).
14.Replace the display assembly (see Replacing the Display Assembly).
15.Replace the optical drive (see Removing the Optical Drive).
16.Replace the fan (see Replacing the Fan).
