7.Disconnect the graphics card fan cable from the system board connector.
8.Lift the graphics card fan off the computer base.

CHAPTER 14: GRAPHICS CARD FAN
Replacing the Graphics Card Fan
1.Follow the instructions in “Before You Begin” on page 6.
2.Place the graphics card fan in the computer base.
3.Connect the graphics card fan cable to the system board connector.
4.Tighten the two captive screws that secure the graphics card fan to the computer base.
5.Replace the memory module(s) (see “Replacing the Memory Module(s)” on page 23).
6.Replace the hard drive (see “Replacing the Hard Drive” on page 18).
7.Replace the compartment door (see “Replacing the Compartment Door” on page 14).
8.Replace the battery pack (see “Replacing the Battery Pack” on page 11).
CAUTION: Before turning on the computer, replace all screws and ensure that no stray screws remain inside the computer. Failure to do so may result in damage to the computer.
