CHAPTER 15: GRAPHICS CARD HEAT SINK
Replacing the Graphics Card Heat Sink
1.Follow the instructions in “Before You Begin” on page 6.
2.Place the graphics card heat sink in the computer base.
3.Align the four captive screws on the graphics card heat sink with the screw holes on the graphics card and tighten the screws in sequential order (indicated on the graphics card heat sink).
4.Replace the graphics card fan (see “Replacing the Graphics Card Fan” on page 62).

6.Replace the center control cover (see “Replacing the Center Control Cover” on page 31).
7.Replace the memory module(s) (see “Replacing the Memory Module(s)” on page 23).
8.Replace the hard drive (see “Replacing the Hard Drive” on page 18).
9.Replace the compartment door (see “Replacing the Compartment Door” on page 14).
10.Replace the battery pack (see “Replacing the Battery Pack” on page 11).
CAUTION: Before turning on the computer, replace all screws and ensure that no stray screws remain inside the computer. Failure to do so may result in damage to the computer.
