Display Activity This option specifies if AMIBIOS is to monitor display activity for power conservation purposes. When this option is set to Monitor and there is no display activity for the length of time specified in the Standby Timeout (Minutes) option, the computer enters a power savings state. Device 3 (Secondary Slave IDE) When set to Monitor, these options enable event monitoring on the specified hardware interrupt request line. If set to Monitor and the computer is in a power saving state, AMIBIOS watches for activity on the specified IRQ line. The computer enters the Full On state if any activity occurs. AMIBIOS reloads the Standby and Suspend timeout timers if activity occurs on the specified IRQ line.
