Theweeklymaintenancecombinesdifferentsmallhand lings,andastorageprocedure:

Checkthestateofthe“Purge”and“Home”stationGr id,andremoveeventually curedinkoffthegridandoutoftheunderneathtray. Thegriditselfcanbetakenout ofthetraytohaveeasyaccesstothetray.Thetray athomepositiondoesnothavea drainpipe,soliquidinkinthetrayhastoberemove dwithanabsorbingpaperor cloth.Useafillingknifeorawidescrewdriver,toc utoffthecuredinkthat’sonthe ribs.

Checkthewasteinktankunderneaththeprinting table;disposetheinkaccordingtolocalgovernment regulations.(Alsoseechapter5.6.)

Cleanthe“encoder”stripwithalcoholoraceton.

Flushcleaningsolutionthroughtheheads: Firstflushthe4rightheads(Lc,Lm,W1,W2)an dclosethem, andinthesecondstage,flushtheremaining4lef theads(K,C,M,Y). Finally,openthe4rightheadsagain,andflusha ll8headstogethernow. Bydoingso,you’llhavethemostoptimalcleaningpre ssure.

ReplacethetowelsinfrontofthePurgegrid,andc heck/cleanthewholePurge stationenvironment,thefrontoftheUVlampsmight needsomecleaningtoo.
