Bydefault,“Full”powershouldbeusedwheneverpossi sible.
WhenswitchingONtheUV lamps, don’tswitch themfrom“Off”to“Full” poweratonce.Wait2secondsat“Half”powerbeforesw itchingthemto “Full“power.UsethesameprocedurewhengoingfromFu llpowertoOff.
NoteaboutUVlamplifetime:
Thelamplifetimeisnotonlydependingonthenumber sofhoursthatalampgenerated light;Especiallygasdischargedbulbs,thetypet hatisusedingeneralonallUVcuring systems,havealifetimethatisstronglyinfluenc edbythenumberoftimesthatthebulb isswitchedONandOFF.Asageneralrule,onecan statethatswitchingabulbONand OFFcountsforabout40minutesofheadlifetime. Tomaximizetheusefullifetimeofabulb,oneshould notturnthelampsOFFafterhaving madeaprintifanextjobwillbeprintedinthec oming20to30minutes;Forthat, ‘continuousON’shouldbecheckedintheUVoptionsoft hesetupmenu,andauseronly hastoswitchthelampsoffifthemachinewillnotbe usedforatleastanhalfhour.
