Afterplacementofthemediaontothebelt,youhaveto switchthevacuumon, andmoveallthepinsbackupwards. WhileMediaSetpinsarelowered,thebluelightwil llightenuponthetower,and neithercarriagemovementnorprintingispossible.
Forlongermedia,thesideguiderswithrollscanbeu sedlocatedontheguiderat therearofthevacuumtable.
9.2.2.2.TopandLeftMarginSetup:
The“A”and“B”positions,the“originpoint”atthec ornerofyourmedia,are knowndistances.The“A”pointhasasapproximatelypos ition:Topmargin=300 mmandLeftMargin=50mm.Dependingontheposition ontothemediawhere theimagehastobeprinted,youhavetoaddtheimage offsettothesenumbers. ThesenumberscanbeenteredintheControlprogram.
Imageplacementforprintingontworigidmedia,must bedoneonRiplevel.
Important
When printing on heat sensitive media, always make sure the right
UV lamp is going passed the media, on the point of returning.
(otherwise there will be more heat at the left side of the media,
which can cause media cockling or produce a yellowish shine on some media)
This can be arranged on the Rip level by entering a blanco space at the
right of the pictures.
