The settings on the screen are for reference only. Your version may not be identical to this one.

This section gives you functions to configure the system based on the specific features of the chipset. The chipset manages bus speeds and access to system memory resources. These items should not be altered unless necessary. The default settings have been chosen because they provide the best operating conditions for your system. The only time you might consider making any changes would be if you discovered some incompatibility or that data was being lost while using your system.

RIMM Module Used

This field is used to select the type of RIMMTM module installed on the system board. The options are Auto, PC-600, PC-700 and PC- 800.The default setting is Auto.

DRAM Data Integrity Mode

Non-ECC Select this option if your module uses the 64Mbit, 128Mbit or 256Mbit RDRAM technology.

ECC Select this option if your module uses the 72Mbit, 144Mbit or 288Mbit RDRAM technology. These types of modules support ECC (Error Checking and Correction) which allows the system to recover from memory failure. It detects single-
