Chapter 1. Installation

Communication Values ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

In order for your printer to communicate with your host, you must make sure the communication values are set to the same values. Here are the default values with which the printer is shipped:

Baud:

9600

Word Length: 8-bit data frame

Stop Bits:

1-stop bit

Parity:

none

Flow Control: DTR

To change the printer's communication values, contact your company's host support person or see the MPCLII Packet Reference Manual.
