HD Mesh Node

Appendix A Serial Port

The HD Mesh unit features a serial port. The serial port is useful in the event that the router cannot be accessed via TCP/IP (HTTP, Telnet, or Winbox). A Terminal Emulation program (such as HyperTerminal on the Windows operating system) can be used to access the HD Mesh’s CLI using the serial port, which is located in the top right side of the enclosure. The serial 9 pin db female connector can be used with a standard null-modem cable to manage the HD Mesh unit.
